Publication Ethics

This journal is firmly committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and takes all necessary measures to prevent and address publication malpractice. These ethical principles are guided by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and apply to all parties involved in the publishing process, including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are required to ensure that their submissions are entirely original. Any use of text, data, or ideas from other sources must be appropriately cited. All forms of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate rejection or retraction of the manuscript.

Authors must present accurate, truthful, and reliable data. Practices such as data fabrication, falsification, or manipulation are unethical and will not be tolerated. Submitting the same manuscript to more than one journal at the same time is considered unethical; authors must confirm that their work has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.

All individuals who have made significant contributions to the research should be listed as authors, while others who contributed in a limited capacity should be acknowledged accordingly. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring that all co-authors have reviewed and approved the final version of the manuscript and have agreed to its submission.

Authors must disclose any financial, personal, or institutional relationships that could influence the research or its interpretation. All sources of funding should be clearly acknowledged. Proper credit must always be given to the work of others, and all relevant literature that influenced the study should be cited. If authors discover a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they are obligated to promptly inform the journal and cooperate fully in correcting or retracting the article where necessary.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers must treat all manuscripts as confidential documents and must not disclose any information about the submission to anyone without explicit permission from the editor. Reviews should be conducted objectively, respectfully, and constructively, without personal criticism of the authors. Comments and recommendations should be clearly expressed and supported by reasoned arguments.

Reviewers are expected to complete their evaluations within the agreed timeframe. If they are unable to do so, they should notify the editor promptly. Any potential conflicts of interest must be disclosed, and reviewers should decline assignments if they feel unqualified or unable to provide an impartial assessment.

Reviewers are encouraged to identify relevant published work that has not been cited and to alert the editor to any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under review and other published material.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors evaluate manuscripts solely on the basis of their scholarly merit, originality, clarity, and relevance, without discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnicity, citizenship, or political philosophy.

Editors and editorial staff must maintain the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and must not disclose information to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, or editorial advisers. Editors should recuse themselves from handling manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest and avoid decisions where impartiality cannot be assured.

Editors are responsible for making final publication decisions based on the validity and significance of the work, often in consultation with reviewers and the editorial board. They must ensure that errors, inaccuracies, or misleading statements are corrected promptly and transparently through corrections or retractions when required. Editors should take all reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of research involving misconduct and act decisively when ethical concerns arise.

Responsibilities of the Publisher

The publisher supports editors in safeguarding the integrity of the scholarly record and ensures that editorial decisions remain independent of commercial or personal interests. Appropriate action will be taken in cases of ethical misconduct, including plagiarism, data fabrication, and duplicate publication.

The publisher is also committed to the long-term preservation and accessibility of published research by maintaining digital archives and collaborating with recognized preservation organizations.

Handling Ethical Issues

In cases of suspected or confirmed scientific misconduct, plagiarism, or fraudulent publication, the publisher—working closely with the editors—will take all necessary steps to investigate and resolve the issue. This may include the publication of an erratum, clarification, expression of concern, or, in severe cases, the retraction of the affected article.

The journal and publisher take proactive measures to prevent research misconduct and will never encourage or knowingly permit unethical practices.

By adhering to these ethical standards, the journal seeks to protect the integrity of the academic publishing process and to promote a culture of transparency, accountability, and respect within the scholarly community.
